Duties Description The intern can expect to gain hands-on experience in the following areas:
Outreach and Community Engagement:
Implement strategies to engage job seekers
Assist in planning and executing outreach events to inform impacted workers about available Rapid Response services.
Develop and distribute presentation and informational materials regarding re-employment resources.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Compile and analyze data on case outcomes and program effectiveness.
Prepare reports summarizing key metrics and trends related to rapid response activities.
Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a student currently enrolled in upcoming/current college courses.
Preferred Skill sets:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Education: Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field focused on workforce development.
• Strong interest in workforce development, career counseling, and job search assistance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
